Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day

We, here at spoiledBROKE! would like to pay homage to one of the greatest civil rights leaders and activists of our the past century: Dr. Martin Luther Kings Jr. It was through him that things such as diversity and education and self-pride within the African American community has spawned. He has moved so many people-no matter what creed, religion or race-and will be forever remembered for the peaceful yet powerful acts he has performed so that equality would become not just a norm but the standard in which we all should base our lives and the way we treat others. Dr. King once said “A man can’t ride your back unless it’s bent.” Surely, Dr. King did that for us and it is for that, that we say thank you to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. for all he has done and is still doing today. We are honored.
